An Edwardian lady lavender pillow

I said I'd have something finished for you today and here it is (although I am posting a bit late) !

I've printed an image of an early 1900s Vogue magazine onto a piece of vintage linen that I've used for the left-hand side of the pillow. I really loved the soft colours of the image and they've softened even more because of the linen it's printed on.

The right-hand side is a printed cotton, with pink and white flowers and a lovely soft green background. On the seam in between the two sides, I've added some amber-coloured beads and a piece of antique lace Once the pillow was filled with dried lavender and stuffing, I added a vintage-style cameo brooch, with aurora borealis crystals surrounding it.

I think everything just fits together perfectly! I was so pleased that I considered not listing it on Etsy, but as that wouldn't put food on the table, I popped it on earlier. You can find it here in the lavender section of my Etsy store.

I'll be back again on Saturday.
