A couple of textiles in the Museum of Liverpool

My posts on Sunday tend to be about what I have been making, so I thought I would start a series of Wednesday posts picturing images that I have taken, or spotted, of things that have caught my eye. So here's the first one. A couple of textiles found in the Museum of Liverpool.

This is an afghan cap, I like the muted colours and it looks like someone has made it, if you know what I mean.

These are American Indian moccasins. I like the detailed pattern around the shoe and along the front. It would make a lovely edging on a sampler.
