Flowery headbands

I do like to come up with new things to make to sell occasionally, though the original idea to make headbands was my Mum's. I like to make fabric flowers and these headbands gave me the excuse to make more!

The base for each of these headbands are simple, narrow plastic headbands that I have wrapped with strips of fabric. The flowers for this headband are made from new fabrics with button centres.

The flower on this band is made from two knitted flowers that I made, with a centre made from net that came from the USA and a vintage leatherette button.

The materials for this headband are all vintage. The fabric for the flowers and wrapped around the headband is Laura Ashley dress fabric, with centres of pink satin buttons.

This headband has a large flower made from three different fabrics with a centre of a vintage button.

These headbands are fun to make, so I'll definitely be making more.

We also ask the next time you link to us, that you include some form of drink, whether it's art or an actual drink. Thank you in advance.

  6. Welcome!! Love the headbands. Those narrow plastic ones are often uncomfortable so the wrapping alone would make them so much nicer--and the flowers are so bright and pretty. Happy T-Day! :)
