A birthday card
May is the start of our family's birthday season and this is the first one. I used a double-sided 250gsm paper and decorated it with some rose die-cuts, a couple of wooden flowers and some glitterywashi tape.
I'll be back on Friday.

A birthday card with a flower
This is an 80th birthday card that I was asked to make for a customer. I've tried out a new style, with 'doors' that are kept closed with ribbon tied. Inside there's a pocket with a tag for the sentiment etc.
I've used a dried flower to decorate the front, brads to hold the ribbon, acrylic pearls and a cameo to decorate the front. Inside I've mainly used stickers and the tag.
I'll be back on Saturday.

A pair of cards
The top card is a birthday card for a penpal. As well as the images from pinterest, I've used some fabric flowers cut from a Rose and Hubble floral fabric both on the front of the card and on the inside.
The other is a new home card, the first one I've made in ages. It's just fairly simply with a couple of things from scrapbook table and a couple of stickers.
I hope you've had a good weekend and I'll be back on Wednesday.

A pair of birthday cards
A couple of Scottish-themed birthday cards, the recipient is a Scotland lover. I used a selection of images from Pinterest and added some postage stamps, a piece of a map, wooden embellishments, a dried aster flower head and some acer leaves that actually came from a Scottish tree. When cards are for males, I find that a collage is a good way to have a 'male' vibe as it can be hard to find a masculine image that isn't a bottle of wine, golf, car etc.
I can't believe that it's the first day of the last month of 2016! Where has the year gone?
I'll be back again on Saturday.

A couple more dapper gent birthday cards
Both of these cards started with the images of the gents that I found on Pinterest. They're from vintage fashion adverts for men. Each one has had french knots added to highlight the buttons on the gents' outfits. The first one also has a teeny bit of fabric that I've added to his breast pocket as a pocket square. He is on a background of newsprint themed paper, with the addition of some washi tape and vintage buttons.
For the second gent, I have added a buttonhole, to goes with his french kno buttons. He has a background of a muted plaid and has a couple of cufflink shaped jewels either side of the sentiment.
The first of these cards has been snapped up already, but the second is, currently, available in my Etsy store.
I'll be back on Thursday.

A couple of cards
I have so many things nearly finished, but these two are the only actually finished items, hence you're seeing a birthday card and a christmas card.
These cards are A6 in size and are decorated with french knots, and the pink reindeer has a few beads too.
Both the pink reindeer christmas card (now sold) and the dapper gent birthday card are now available in my Etsy store.
I'll be back on Friday.
