I made my Mum some bunting as part of her Mother's Day present a couple of weeks ago, it now resides in her bedroom.
Bunting is reasonably easy to make, you just need some fabric triangles and bias binding or ribbon at it's most basic. Here I used two triangles of fabric sewn rightsides together then turned out for each of the nine flags. I also added lace and buttons to one side of each flag (so there's a right and a wrong side). I then pinned the bias binding onto the flags, leaving the width of a flag gap between each one. I then machine sewed the binding onto the flags and voilĂ , bunting!
You can see instructions on how to make all sorts of bunting on Pinterest.
