This design sheet has been done on tracing paper as I wanted to trace elements from other design sheets and sources. The shape of the doodle, a heart shape with circles on the top, was traced from a photo of an exhibit (Red Independent Heart by Joana Vasconcelos) in the Colecao Berado museum in Lisbon, Portugal.
The doodles inside the shape were traced from my previous doodles - hexies, circles, lozenges (click on 'design' in labels [in the righthand-side column about half way down] to see previous design sheets.
I'm going to draw this design onto a piece of fabric and then embellish it with embroidery.
Design sheet 11.
This sheet was drawn completely by hand and is a reference towards blue and white pottery. I will copy this design onto fabric, either by printing directly onto the fabric or redrawing it by hand. The fabric will then be used for future projects, and probably cut up.
