This brooch is made from a fragment from a vintage, damaged tablecloth that has been mounted onto green linen and lined with buttonhole lace. More embroidery has been added to the green linen, including lots of french knots and the words 'spring flowers'. The brooch is also decorated with vintage lace and a vintage button.
The brooch is backed with plain linen and as it is quite a large brocch (8cm wide and 14cm in length) I've used a kilt pin-style brooch back to enable the brooch to be attached to clothes etc.
This brooch is now listed in the Elsie May and Bertha online shop.
