A little peak

As I've mentioned before (see Monday's post), I'm making something for my Mum's 75th birthday. As she reads this blog, I can't tell you what it is or show you any pictures of the whole thing. However, I can show you a couple of bits that will be used for it, but don't give the game away.

First of all, a little flap made from silk crepe de chine, which has been edged in buttonhole lace using silk thread, and a bit of lace.

These circles have been cut from the snippet cloth I told you about in my last post. These will be edged in buttonhole lace and embroidered.

These are fabric patches that have been decorated with french knots and beads.
